AI is changing everything. But why should you care? On 14th August, AIESEC in SLIIT brought together an insightful conversation around one of the most important questions shaping our future: The Future of AI & Why You Should Care, a webinar hosted as part of IntelliCon '26, with 100+ delegates in attendance. We were honored to have two inspiring voices join us for the session: Dr. Kalpana Ambepitiya — Award-Winning Entrepreneur, Educator & Innovation Advocate Jehan Wijesinghe — Founder & CEO of Product Tavern, Technology Entrepreneur, Innovation Advocate, Startup Mentor & TEDx Speaker The conversation explored how AI is reshaping industries and the way we solve everyday problems, the skills young people need to stay relevant in an AI-driven world, and why curiosity and adaptability matter just as much as technical know-how. Our speakers also shared practical ways students and young professionals can start experimenting with AI today.
